This is Julie Gardner, Managing Director of Lincoln Youth Symphony. The spot checks we assigned a couple weeks ago were canceled!  I'm sure all who missed rehearsal will be sad not to have to make them up. We have chosen to expect you to learn your music without being scared into it.

Thank you for practicing at home!  The Mozart is sounding much better!

Don't forget to invite your friends to play with us. Remember, we have a fun video on LincolnYouthSymphony.googlepages.com.

This week, we passed out the narration for Little Bop Riding Hood. If you did not receive it, please see Julie this Saturday.

Future Rehearsals

Regular rehearsal next Saturday, November 1, 8:30 to 11:00 am. I know we had a rocky start with extra auditions for a few weeks, but now is the time to step up your promptness and be perfectly on time!  Let's start on time. For those of you who are new, we used to start at 8:00 am, but we are happy to start at 8:30 if we truly start then!

Our first concert is coming up quickly. Be sure to mark your calendar for Saturday, November 22nd, 2008, 7:00 pm, BEHS Auditorium.

Please contact me with any questions: Julie Gardner, 435.723.8262, GJulieKay@gmail.com, or check out the calendar on the website here (please inform me of any technical difficulties).
