Tomorrow's Rehearsal - NUYS

Greetings! 

YES we have rehearsal tomorrow. If you are in town, be there!

And if you are not in town, please let me know. Best way? Attendance form. 😉

Our rehearsal schedule for tomorrow will look much like last week:

8:00 Doors Unlock

8:20 Find your seat, prepare for sectionals, warm up

8:30 Strings all together in the gym, with Woodwinds and Brass in their usual places

9:25 Dismiss sectionals

9:30 Full rehearsal, Star Wars, Broadway, Saint-Saens, and Mozart

11:00 Clean up

11:30 Doors lock 

If you need to prop the outside door to arrive or leave, please close it again out of respect for the utility costs of the school.

NEXT WEEK, Oct 24, plan to stay until 12:30 if you can! We will have TShirts to hand out and we'll take some pictures and play some games! Plan to bring a snack to share. We will work out the social distancing, etc, so we can at least do that much, since we canceled retreat. (For those of you who are new, retreat is where we always hand out TShirts!)

FOLLOWING WEEK, Oct 31, our rehearsal date falls on Halloween! Costumes are welcome, and we may have a social hour after rehearsal as well, so stay tuned.

Chamber Orchestra T-Shirt Orders

Hello!

Here is the link to order T-Shirts.

Remember, all musicians get a T-Shirt on us, so everyone needs to fill this out. 

When you fill out the form, you will be asked your size, and to choose a T-Shirt color from this list: Black, Navy Blue, Forest Green, Dark Purple, Hot Pink, and Dark Heather Gray. 

There will be a link on the "submitted" screen where you can submit another form to choose shirts for other people, just in case your mom or grandpa or your beloved black lab decide they want one too. (If you do that, bring the money (or a check written to LBSS) to rehearsal and turn it in asap; extra shirts $10, hoodies $25)

Keep in mind that these are regular, unisex T-Shirts, as you choose your size. (FYI: The youth XL is wider and shorter than the adult S.)

NUYS Today, Parent Meeting, Retreat

I enjoyed listening to rehearsal today! Fantastic. :)

Thanks, everyone, for coming to the parent meeting today! If you missed it, here is a link to a PDF version of the PowerPoint; if you see something you would like to volunteer for, let me know, or turn in a volunteer sheet! 

T-Shirts

Please note that we are working on a T-Shirt design, and would like to have it solidified by next Saturday, so if you have ideas, check out the second-to-last slide on the above link.

Watch your email for a link to a Google Form for T-shirt size and color choices, coming soon. I loved the little cheer for the T-shirts. You are all so cool! :)

Retreat

We handed out the retreat permission slips and the information sheet, including a food suggestions form. If you did not get these, please print off, fill out, and turn in. If you have a food allergy or similar situation, it is especially important that you turn in the food suggestion form.
