Here is our rehearsal schedule for Saturday: (no sectionals this week)
8:00 am - doors unlock, help setup8:00 - 8:20 - members walking through the door, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!8:30 - all members in their chairs ready to begin. Rehearsal order
- Poet and the Peasant
- American Salute
-Lord of the Rings
- @ 10 am, Beethoven violin concerto (Trombone and Tuba are excused)
- @ 10:30 am, Vaughaun Williams oboe concerto (rest of winds and brass are excused)
11:00 - rehearsal ends, everyone helps with clean up.
11:30 - doors lock
It is prom season, and we are very aware of the traditional expectations of having all-day activities with your dates. We humbly ask you (okay...plead with you), to not forget us. We need you! If you need to leave a little early, that's fine. Better yet, why don't wow your date with your amazing musical talents and bring them to rehearsal, OR if they are a musician have them bring their instrument and come play! Bottom line, we would greatly appreciate it if you were there for part, if not all, of rehearsal.
Don't forget!! Next week, April 2nd, is our early rehearsal. It will be from 8:00 - 10:00 am.
