Abravanel Hall and other stuff

Greetings!

I just thought you'd all like to know that I handed out the Abravanel Hall permission slip and information sheet last Saturday. Please ask for yours if you were not there. I am also looking for at least two adults who can ride the bus to and from Salt Lake. If you are interested, please contact me asap (replying to this email is fine).

Remember that rehearsals the next two weeks - January 26 and February 2 - will run until 11:30.

The Night of Concertos Concert is Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Box Elder Middle School, 18 South 500 East, Brigham City, at 5:00pm. Our rehearsal that morning will be in the BEMS Auditorium from 8:30 to 11:00 am. Please be on time. :)

I have pasted the Abravanel Hall Information below, and also attached the form. The sheet with the permission form (page two of the attachment) also has a form letter you can use to petition your school for an excused absence. Please make every effort to attend, and if you can't attend, I need to know right away so I can make arrangements to cover your part. We are small and need everyone! (PS If you are reading this on the website, just email me or leave a comment if you need the form and I will make sure you get it.)

Ø There is room on the bus for cellos and basses.
Ø Each musician is very important to our performance. Since this is not technically a school-sponsored activity, their time off from school will need to be arranged on an individual basis. Please use the note below or ask me for a full size version if it helps!
Please sign and return the permission slip ASAP.
