LYS: Today's Rehearsal, December 4th, 2010

Today's Rehearsal:

We enjoyed sight reading the Bruch concerto and the second movement of the Schubert today. It will be really neat to play the Schubert straight through at Abravanel Hall in February.

We will have the music for the Accolay concerto by next week. 

The winds went in the other room and sight-read a piece together today. Funeral music by Wagner! They thought that was pretty funny. (the funeral part!) The strings worked on some tough passages in the Schubert together.

Thanks for a great rehearsal. We missed a few people today that we didn't expect to be gone. We hope everyone's okay!

December 4, 11, 18: Regular Rehearsals, ACYI, 9:00-11:15am

December 25, January 1: No rehearsals (imagine that!)

January 8, 15, 22, 29: Regular Rehearsals, ACYI, 9:00-11:15am

February 5: Dress Rehearsal at BEMS Auditorium, 9:00-11:15am

February 5: Concert at BEMS Auditorium

February 12, 19, 26: Regular Rehearsals, ACYI, 9:00-11:15am

February 28: Trip to Abravanel Hall!
