Rehearsal schedule tomorrow:
8:00 - Doors unlock. I will not be there tomorrow, so we needs lots of help getting chairs and stands set up early.
8:30 - Combined Rehearsal following concert order which is:
- A Song for Japan - Brass Ensemble (Mrs. Erickson will be gone so we will wait on this)
- Ancient Dances and Airs
- Horn Concerto
- Unfinished Symphony
- Variations on a Shaker Melody
11:00 -Rehearsal End
11:30 - Doors lock
Winds and Brass, feel free to bring homework or a reading book for down times. Trombones/Tuba, you are welcome to sleep in a little bit and come at 9:00 am.
Evening Rehearsal - don't forget our extra rehearsal, Thursday, Feb 10th from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. This will be our final one before our concert, so please do everything you can to be there for it. If you can't, fill out the attendance form.
Concert!!! - Concert is next Saturday, Feb. 12th, @ Logan High School (162 W 100 S, Logan). Don't forget to let all your family and friends know.
Here is the schedule:
No Rehearsal in the morning!
4:00 pm - Setup - If you can come this early, we'll appreciate your help.
5:00 - 5:30 pm - NUYS Sound Check on stage (30 minutes can go quick! So please be in your chair and ready to tune by 4:50!!!) Unpack in the band room.
5:45 - 6:30 pm - NUYCO Sound Check on stage
Concert Attire - Just a friendly reminder...7:00 pm Concert begins!
- Male: Black tux or equivalent suit, white dress shirt, black bow tie, black socks, black shoes.- Female: Black dress, formal trouser suit, or blouse & skirt, midriff covered, conservative neckline, skirts & dresses at least tea-length, slits no higher than knee, black stockings, black shoes, accessories & trim in black.
Folders - I will leave the big black box in the band room so you can stick your folders in it after the concert. Place them standing up so all of them can fit.- Black masks (if you are wearing one)
