Plan for Rehearsal No. 3

T-Shirt Order Forms
Here is the link to submit your size and color preference for this year's t-shirts. We need every musician to fill this out - everyone gets a shirt - and you can fill it out multiple times for additional orders. (If you have a sibling in Chamber Orchestra, they have a different form. Here is the chamber orchestra link.)

Rehearsal Plan for Saturday
Mr Dunn is pleased with last week's rehearsal and hopes that you've all been practicing.

From my experience playing in an orchestra, even if I can't get everything right at home, I find it all works out better at rehearsal if I've practiced.

This week, we will structure our time as follows:

8:30 to 9:10 - Sectionals (Yes, this time we will be splitting up the strings)
Woodwinds - down the right hall, to the left
Brass - down the left hall, to the right
Strings - Start in full string sectional, then split.
1st violins - across from the woodwinds
2nd violins - in the Kiva on the stage
Violas - in the entrance hall
Cellos - in the cafeteria/gym
Basses - either with the cellos or in the hallway
As we use these parts of the school, please remember that all classrooms and lockers are off limits! :)
9:15 to 10:30 - full rehearsal
Mendelssohn at first, Narnia to begin at 9:30 or 9:40 with the harp, then Mendelssohn again as time permits. (No Tintinabulations this week, but keep practicing it - we'll do it next time.)
10:30 to 11:00 - Stamitz with Ashley

See you Saturday! You are all awesome!

Thanks,
Julie & Mr Dunn
