We found a coat in the parking lot. It's size small, Gerry brand, has a detachable hood. It was found near the handicapped parking stalls in the front of the parking lot. If you can tell me the color, I will get it back to you!

NUYCO rehearsal

Hi families! Nothing new going on this week (thankfully LOL). Regular rehearsal on Saturday. Remember the Tour Parent Meeting on March 30!

Also... We are changing our wording from "Attendance Form" to "Absence Form". We rely on every single one of our members to attend every single one of our rehearsals AND concerts. If even one member is absent, it throws everyone off. We expect you to attend. However, we understand things happen and you can't always attend. That's okay! Please, please, just fill out the Absence Form, whether it's two days or two minutes before!

NUYCO Rehearsal

  Hello families! 

What a great concert on Saturday. We sure enjoy the time we get to spend with these kids! And now we begin preparing for our third and final concert. 

Regular rehearsal on Saturday, 10:30-12. I will not be there on Saturday but Kathryn Bodrero will be. If you have any questions, please come find her!

Concert Tomorrow!

It's time for our mid-season concert! I'm so excited to hear it. They are sounding wonderful during rehearsal!

Concert Date-February 24th.

Location: Ridgeline High School-180 N 300 W, Millville Ut

Pull into the parking lot on the north side of the school. It says auditorium over the doors. The auditorium is to the right when you enter. We are meeting in the orchestra room. If you are facing the auditorium entrance go down the hall on the left side to find the orchestra room. I will be out in the lobby to direct you :)

Call Time-12:30

Sound Check-12:45-1:15

Concert-3:00

No music or folders will be handed in tomorrow. Keep everything - because now you have your last concert's music! Practice!

We need some help with cleanup once the concert is finished. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Let me know if you can stick around to pick up the chairs and stands.

Concert Expectations

-Be early to everything!

- Please be courteous when unpacking. Leaving items in front of doors is a major hazard. The last thing we want is someone hurt or an instrument damaged because they had to step over your stuff. Keep all doors to the room clear.

-Do not touch any equipment in the orchestra room or back stage. If you use a chair or stand in the orchestra room, please put it back.

-Absolutely no food or drink in the orchestra room or auditorium.

-Please do not wander the school. During your down time you are welcome to stay in the orchestra room, quietly sit in the auditorium, sit in the hallway, or enjoy the outdoors if it's not too cold.

- Everyone is expected to be in the auditorium during the concert supporting our amazing Wind Ensemble and Symphony groups. NUYCO members can put their instruments away after performing and then sit with their families.

Gentelmen: white shirt, non-distracting tie, black pants, black socks, black shoes

Ladies: white shirt, black pants/skirt, black socks, black shoes

Dress Rehearsal and Cafe Rio Fundraiser

Hi families!

Tomorrow is our dress rehearsal and Cafe Rio Day! We will start rehearsal promptly at 5 at Promontory so make sure to be there a few minutes early. We will most likely end by 6 pm but members are welcome to stay until 6:30 when NUYS will end. 

Head on over to Cafe Rio sometime tomorrow (or multiple times)! They are open from 11am-9pm. The address is 1128 S 450 W, Brigham City. Make sure to show them your voucher when you check out. You can either show them a paper or a digital copy. 

Our soundcheck time on Saturday is at 12:45 at Ridgeline High School. Plan to be there by 12:30 so we can be on stage ready to start at 12:45. I will send an email tomorrow with all of the concert details!

NUYCO Cafe Rio Fundraiser

We are excited to be doing a fundraiser with Cafe Rio! Here is the info:

Date: Feb 22nd (dress rehearsal day)

Time: 11am-9pm

Location: Cafe Rio Brigham City, 1128 S 450 W

How it works: Attached to this email is a voucher. Present this voucher when you check out and 20% of your order goes towards NUYE. Simple as that! You can either print this voucher off or show them a digital copy of the voucher for the money to go towards NUYE. You MUST show the voucher before you checkout. It can be used for dining in or take out. The more fliers that are brought in, the more money we make! You can share the flier with grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, and neighbors! We will hand out a paper copy of the voucher at rehearsal on the 17th.

We have scheduled this event so it coincides with our dress rehearsal. Go out with your family before or after rehearsal! :)
