3. Concert: April 27, 7 pm, Bear River High School. NUYCO sound check starts at 5:40 sharp, which means every NUYCO member needs to be in BRHS, ready to go, instrument out and warmed up, by 5:30. Please arrive at 5:15.

4. Rehearsal will continue after the concert in preparation for Tour. Please plan to attend on Thursday, May 4 and Thursday, May 11, 4:30-6:30 pm. 

5. TOUR! May 12 and 13. We are so excited!

6. We have four qualified applicants for our available NUYCO Conductor position. I've invited them to audition for the Board of Directors with our members on SATURDAY, May 20, at 10 AM. I realize this is a new time and well after our season ends, but rehearsals will be returning to Saturdays in the fall. We would like all members who can make themselves available to attend! Each conductor will have 15 minutes to rehearse this concert's animal-themed music with the members. We will have some kind of an end-of-year party afterwards with delicious food. It will be fun and you can scope out our new conductor options!

rehearsal

Hello!

1. Extended rehearsal on Thursday, 4:30-6:30 pm, at Promontory. Fill out the form if you will be absent. 

2. Tour Parent Meeting on Thursday, 5:30-6:00 pm, at Promontory. I realize this and rehearsal will not end at the same time. I had already publicized the parent meeting when we extended rehearsal and didn't feel it would be wise to change the time. Please make every effort to attend. In the 30 minutes between the end of the meeting and the end of the rehearsal, you're welcome to pay for Tour, ask me any questions, or listen to the incredible music being rehearsed in the gym!

rehearsal

Hello families!

1. Rehearsal on Thursday! 4:30-6:30 pm (extended). I will not be there - yay Spring Break - so please let me know if there's anything I can do to help!

2. Mutes - every member needs a mute, and not every family has paid. Please do that ASAP!

3. Tour Parent Meeting - April 13, 5:30-6 pm at Promontory School

4. Volunteers needed - we will need help transporting our percussion to and from our concert in Bear River. If you have a trailer (or any vehicle capable of transporting large equipment) and would be willing to help us, please sign up on the Volunteer Form or let me know. We will need a lot of help!

Concert Wrap-Up and Rehearsal

Wow, what a fantastic concert that was! I heard many positive comments. Thank you so much for your dedication!

Now we get to begin our last concert cycle - animal themed! See you on Thursday at 4:30! As always, please let me know if you will be absent. We had pretty spotty attendance November-February because of play rehearsals, so let's give March-April our best attendance possible!

Concert Schedule

Hey families, here is the concert info!

Saturday, March 4
Concert starts at 3 pm
Ridgeline High School (180 N 300 W Millville, UT 84326)

NUYCO's sound check will begin at 1:40 pm, so it's imperative that each NUYCO member is at Ridgeline by 1:15! Set up starts at 12 pm (would love help, please come if you can), NUYS sound check 12:45, NUYWE 1:20, NUYCO at 1:40, NUYPS at 2:10, doors open at 2:30.
