Hi Families! Here are a few quick notes.1. Extended rehearsal on Thursday, 4:30-6:30 pm. This is our last rehearsal before the concert! Please attend!2. I would love to collect all of the Tour payments and permission slips possible. $40 per member, $20 per adult chaperone. Cash or check preferred, online payment is available here.3. Concert: April 27, 7 pm, Bear River High School. NUYCO sound check starts at 5:40 sharp, which means every NUYCO member needs to be in BRHS, ready to go, instrument out and warmed up, by 5:30. Please arrive at 5:15.4. Rehearsal will continue after the concert in preparation for Tour. Please plan to attend on Thursday, May 4 and Thursday, May 11, 4:30-6:30 pm.5. TOUR! May 12 and 13. We are so excited!6. We have four qualified applicants for our available NUYCO Conductor position. I've invited them to audition for the Board of Directors with our members on SATURDAY, May 20, at 10 AM. I realize this is a new time and well after our season ends, but rehearsals will be returning to Saturdays in the fall. We would like all members who can make themselves available to attend! Each conductor will have 15 minutes to rehearse this concert's animal-themed music with the members. We will have some kind of an end-of-year party afterwards with delicious food.
